How do you define the role of refit project manager? The refit project manager is the one to first oversee any potential problems, consult both shipyard and owner and take precautions to deter any problems before they happen. Refit is predominately about project management, with the shipyard on one side and the yacht owner on the other. That is why 2G Marine always verify contracts, write a responsibility matrix, double check technical specifications and other documents so that all parties involved in the refit have a clear understanding of the project.
