23 LIFTS Once we have chosen a lift, what is required in regards to the maintenance? We always emphasize the importance of maintenance of the lift on board a yacht. Proper maintenance keeps the lift running smoothly and prevents the need for repairs. Once HML installs a lift, we always provide a recommended spare part list and a maintenance manual. With this manual the day- to-day maintenance and cleaning of the lift can be done by crew members. In addition an annual visit by a certified service engineer is recommended, ensuring the wear and tear of the lift can be monitored and certain parts can be replaced in time. HML provides lift service all over the world, not only for lifts of our own making, but also for lifts of other brands. About the expert HML has over 15 years of experience in the design, manufacturing and maintenance of lifts on board luxury yachts. With a team of nearly 20 highly trained and motivated employees we do our utmost to fulfil every owner’s/architect’s wish in regards to the lifts. It is fair to say the sky seems to be the limit when it comes to ideas on the aesthetic design of lifts on board luxury yachts.
