We always recommend making tests to confirm this before treating a full project. How can treated veneers be jointed? Treated veneers can be jointed but it is necessary to make some small adjustments to machinery speed & temperature. What kind of adhesives can be used with treated veneers? PV and PU (Polyvinylacetat and Polyurethane) glues have been used successfully. Bonding should be carried out using the method shown on the certificate. Is it possible to stain treated veneers? Yes. Limartec® has been successfully certified together with stains. Does humidity and UV affect treated veneers? The cautious, non-aggressive treatment used for Limartec® products showed successful results in the following tests: humidity tests up to 90% relative air humidity, long term tests from - 20°C to 80°C +, UV exposure and pull off value. Treatment can make the surface more sensitive to UV light exposure but this can be controlled. In regards to climate impact, get in contact with us for a competent consultation.
